About the Event
Pranayama, also known as yogic breathing or breathwork, dates back millenia and has been used to purify the body, calm the mind, and reach higher states of consciousness. Learn how to use your breath to achieve a desired state such as energizing, healing, calming, and cooling in this 45-minute workshop with Pooja Mamadapalli. Pranayama is one of the most potent practices in the Hatha Yoga tradition and is also part of Patanjali's Eight Branches of Yoga. Pooja is a 500-hour RYT Yoga educator and private teacher with a Master's in Psychology from Bangalore, India.
