MEET THE FOUNDER
meet Sam
Founder, global citizen and student of yoga.
"Some of the most profound journeys have nothing to do with where you are, but who you become along the way."
Samantha Reynolds, E-RYT 500, is a Miami-based yoga teacher and the founder of Cafe Namaste, where she curates community-focused yoga events, corporate programming, and global retreats. Her teaching is grounded in Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa methodology, with a specialized focus on making yoga accessible to diverse populations. Prior to teaching yoga, Samantha worked in higher education and international development in the Czech Republic and Rwanda.

THE JOURNEY
From Ohio to the World
Originally from Ohio, Samantha spent six years living and working in the Czech Republic and Rwanda. During this time, she traveled to nearly 50 countries, developing education programs focused on community empowerment. This international background gave her a global perspective on resilience and the power of human connection.
In 2014, her path led her back to the U.S. and toward an internal journey of self-study. Influenced by her mother’s spiritual guidance and foundational texts like the Bhagavad Gita, she began studying yoga not just as a physical practice, but as a way of life.
Today, she is a Miami-based 500-hour E-RYT specializing in Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa. Her training includes Yin and trauma-informed yoga, and she continues to deepen her education with lineage-based teachers in India and the U.S., including Prasad Rangnekar.
Samantha is driven by a mission to create spaces where people feel seen and supported. Whether leading cultural journeys to India, leadership retreats, or corporate programs in Miami, she aims to bridge traditional wisdom with modern living. For her, yoga is a lived practice that fosters a sense of belonging and helps practitioners navigate life with a clearer mind and a warmer heart.
THE ORIGIN
Why Cafe Namaste
In 2019, Sam launched Cafe Namaste as a rooftop yoga series in downtown Miami. She'd been invited to teach events in a city where wellness programming barely existed yet. She saw an opening to make yoga accessible, practical, and relatable to everyday people, stripping away the studio mystique, meeting people where they were, and building real connection. Because it's Miami, she made it joyful.
Without formal event experience, she grew it into a full-scale wellness platform offering public classes, residential and hotel activations, corporate wellness programming, and immersive international retreats to India and Rwanda.
She remains committed to honoring yoga's cultural and spiritual roots, teaching the practice with depth and integrity, and creating spaces where people feel welcomed.

LIVING WITH INTENTION
Guided by Values
Inclusivity, integrity, curiosity, and warmth are the values that guide Sam's personal and professional life. You'll see it in the marigold and magenta hues of Cafe Namaste, in the way every class begins with a centering moment, in the community brunches, in the joy of service, in the way Cafe Namaste invites you not just to practice, but to belong.
BEYOND THE MAT
Student of Life
Outside her work with Cafe Namaste, Sam is a student of photography, interior spaces, and global well-being. She continues to study yoga and draws inspiration from nature, global perspectives and quiet moments. Through everything she creates, on the mat and beyond, Sam’s mission remains the same: To help people feel more connected, to themselves, to each other and to what matters most.
