About the Event

For Mental Health Awareness month, Cafe Namaste is offering  complimentary yoga classes and workshops in partnership with MANA IMPACT in downtown Miami for the month of May. Yoga is a holistic system that offers benefits to the mind, body, and spirit. Its effects can be  profound, not just in the body, but as a path for personal growth and study of the self. Join Sam Reynolds, founder of Cafe Namaste, for classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with special workshops led by Yoga Educator (500-HR RYT) and Master Teacher, Pooja Mamadapalli.

By Donation: Give What You Can or Come as Our Guest

All classes are donation-based to make it accessible for anyone who'd like to try (normally our pop-up classes are $18). All donations are appreciated and contribute to the work we do including the volunteer programs with partner non-profits we have in the community. The space is a courtesy of MANA COMMON.

Please bring a mat and RSPV in advance online.

Slow Flow + Restore (All Levels)

This class will flow slowly through sun salutations and postures designed to build awareness and peace, while also keeping the body flexible. Class concludes with Restorative Yoga postures which settle the body and mind. Those new to the practice will benefit from the slower pace and emphasis on reclining and seated postures. More experienced students find Slow Flow a place to reconnect with the fundamentals of practice and to cultivate mindful awareness.  (intention: relaxing, calm, and gentle stretching)


Mana Common, 8th floor (suite 8), Wells Fargo Building. The building door will be open until 7pm. Please look for the door under the number 21 and head to the elevator to the 8th floor.

Workshops (45-minutes)

  • May 17  7:30PM Yoga Nidra (sleep) with Pooja M.
  • May 24 7:30PM Regulating the Nervous System: Pranayama 101 (Yogic Breathwork) with Pooja M.
